The Berthoud Spartans easily put away the Mead Mavericks by a score of 71-34 on Saturday.
Emily Cavey lead Berthoud with 22 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Breanna Fowler helped by chipping in 14 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Mead was paced in scoring by Kyra Haan who scored nine points, while also collecting four rebounds and two assists. Maddie Muntz helped by chipping in six points and seven rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Berthoud heading to play Frederick and Mead taking on Windsor.
