Las Animas could not overcome Crowley County in 39-25 loss on Friday.
Crowley County was paced in scoring by Avery Walter who put up nine points while also collecting 13 rebounds and two assists. Destinee Ybarra and Jayla Brown also had productive performances contributing eight points each.
Las Animas was lead in scoring by Annalise Fernandez who scored six points. Allyana Magana aided the effort by chipping in five points and three rebounds.
In their next games, Crowley County will play host to Hoehne, while Las Animas will travel to play Rye.
