
The Denver East Angels earned a win when they defeated the Denver South Rebels 65-48 on Friday.
Navaeh Golden lead Denver East with 20 points scored while also recording nine rebounds and seven assists. Stella Rollo recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Denver South was lead in scoring by Timiya Guevara who scored 21 points, while also recording 12 rebounds and five assists. Briasia Johnson had a good night, scoring 10 points.
In their next games, Denver East will play host to Rangeview, while Denver South will travel to play Far Northeast Warriors.
