The Vanguard School easily defeated the La Junta Tigers by a score of 52-28 on Friday.
The Vanguard School was lead in scoring by Juliana Garcia who put up 27 points while also recording seven rebounds and two assists. Alexis Garcia had a productive night, recording 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.
La Junta was paced in scoring by Sierra Reisch who put up 12 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and three assists. Raini Tafoya had a notable night, recording six points, six rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with The Vanguard School hosting Lamar and La Junta taking on James Irwin.
