
Longmont Christian earned a win when they defeated the Lyons Lions 45-28 on Friday.
Taylor Vandenburg lead Longmont Christian with 17 points scored while also collecting 10 rebounds and four assists. Rachel Cahill had a notable night, recording 13 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Lyons was lead in scoring by Hannah Schweiger who accounted for 12 points, while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Avery Joy helped by chipping in 12 points and three rebounds.
Next up for each team, Lyons will stay home and play Nederland, while Longmont Christian will travel to play Mile High Academy.
