Centaurus outlasts Niwot, winning by a score of 54-47 on Friday.
Centaurus was paced in scoring by Owen Koonce who accounted for 18 points while also recording four rebounds and four assists. Carson Hill and Mario Everett also had solid outings contributing 13 points each.
Niwot was paced in scoring by Cooper Sheldon who put up 20 points, while also collecting one rebound and five assists. Kyle Reeves and Milo Ostwald also had productive games contributing 12 points and nine points, respectively.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Centaurus heading to play Northridge and Niwot taking on Mountain View.
