The Aspen Skiers earned a win when they defeated the Grand Valley Cardinals 45-40 on Saturday.
Grand Valley was lead in scoring by Emilio Garcia who scored 15 points while collecting six rebounds. Blade McCormick helped by contributing seven points and five rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Aspen heading to play Basalt and Grand Valley taking on Coal Ridge.
