Aurora Central drops contest to Adams City in 59-42 loss on Friday, Jan. 24.
Adams City was paced in scoring by Jay Jones who accounted for 27 points while also recording six rebounds and one assist. Amanda Herron recorded a double-double, scoring 16 points and collecting 16 rebounds.
Aurora Central was paced in scoring by Aryannah McClain who scored 21 points, while also recording seven rebounds and three assists. Zana’e Hodges recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Adams City heading to play Gateway and Aurora Central taking on Denver North.
