The Peyton Panthers easily defeated the Burlington Cougars by a score of 60-26 on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Shelby Miller lead Peyton with 16 points scored while also recording five rebounds and three assists. Madeleine Ja´uregui helped by chipping in 13 points and four rebounds.
Burlington was lead in scoring by Triniti Scott who put up nine points while collecting six rebounds. Trinity Perry had a notable night, recording seven points, 12 rebounds and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Peyton heading to play Fountain Valley and Burlington taking on Flagler/Hi-Plains.
