Denver South could not overcome Denver East in 65-48 loss on Friday, Jan. 24.
Denver East was lead in scoring by Navaeh Golden who scored 20 points while also collecting nine rebounds and seven assists. Stella Rollo recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Denver South was lead in scoring by Timiya Guevara who accounted for 21 points, while also recording 12 rebounds and five assists. Briasia Johnson helped by chipping in 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Next up for each team, Denver East will play host to Rangeview, while Denver South will travel to play Far Northeast Warriors.
