The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds easily defeated Antonito by a score of 72-29 on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Sangre de Cristo was paced in scoring by Kylee Christensen who accounted for 16 points while also dishing out three assists. Ashley Mortensen and Tymberlynn Rogers also had notable outings contributing 12 points and 11 points, respectively.
Antonito was lead in scoring by Shiinei Tallman who accounted for 14 points, while also collecting 13 rebounds and one assist. Shandiin Tallman had a solid night, recording eight points, eight rebounds and one assist.
Next up for each team, Sangre de Cristo will stay home and play La Veta, while Antonito will travel to play Sierra Grande.
