The Trinidad Miners narrowly lost to The Vanguard School in a 38-35 game on Tuesday.
The Vanguard School was paced in scoring by Juliana Garcia who scored 17 points while also recording four rebounds and one assist. Hailey Blanchard aided the effort by contributing 10 points and three rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with The Vanguard School heading to play Florence and Trinidad taking on Manitou Springs.
