The Widefield Gladiators beat Mitchell by a score of 56-39 on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Widefield was paced in scoring by Erika Warner who scored 20 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Liliani Krause had a good night, recording 11 points, nine rebounds and one assist.
Mitchell was lead in scoring by Amari Davis who put up 20 points, while also recording three rebounds and three assists. Torrai Logan helped the effort by chipping in 11 points and nine rebounds.
In their next games, Mitchell will play host to Harrison, while Widefield will travel to play Mesa Ridge.
