A suspected bank robber dubbed the “Powder Puff Bandit,” who allegedly wore facial makeup to conceal multiple tattoos, has been arrested.
Paul Hernandez, 32, is accused of robbing banks in Arvada, Aurora and Denver since Jan. 17, according to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. Aurora police announced the arrest on Tuesday afternoon.

The robber wore the same clothes — a black beanie, black sunglasses, black hoodie and black pants — at the recent robberies and he also wore makeup, Crime Stoppers said.
Photographs of the “Powder Puff Bandit” were posted on Twitter on Jan. 22 with a plea asking for the public’s help in identifying the robber. A reward of up to $7,000 was offered by Crime Stoppers.
