The Fleming Wildcats easily put away the Akron Rams by a score of 61-36 on Thursday.
Whitney Chintala lead Fleming with 20 points scored while also recording four rebounds and three assists. Kendyl Kirkwood recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Akron was paced in scoring by Nadalyn Poss who put up 13 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Janessa Shook helped by contributing seven points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fleming heading to play Briggsdale and Akron taking on Liberty Common.
