Ben Buhler lead Denver Christian with 20 points scored while also recording eight rebounds and one assist. Henry Vandenberg had a good night, scoring 18 points.
Gilpin County was paced in scoring by Blake Boulter who put up 20 points, while also collecting eight rebounds and two assists. Stephen King had a notable night, recording 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Denver Christian hosting Heritage Christian and Gilpin County taking on Twin Peaks Charter Academy.
