The Sand Creek Scorpions easily defeated the Discovery Canyon Thunder by a score of 70-31 on Friday.
Sand Creek was paced in scoring by Riley Rodriguez who accounted for 21 points while also collecting four rebounds and two assists. Krystina Hagood recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Discovery Canyon was lead in scoring by Mackenzie Seitz who put up 11 points while grabbing five rebounds. Emily Allen had a good night, recording five points, five rebounds and four assists.
Looking ahead to their next games, Sand Creek will play host to Lewis-Palmer, while Discovery Canyon will travel to play Cheyenne Mountain.
