The Aurora Central Trojans defeated the Gateway Olympians by a score of 57-50 on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
Messiah Ford lead Aurora Central with 18 points scored while also collecting three rebounds. Kavon Williams and Laquan Bowie also had productive outings contributing 12 points each.
Gateway was paced in scoring by Maliq Alford who scored 16 points while grabbing two rebounds. Antwuan Smith aided the effort by chipping in 13 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Aurora Central heading to play Alameda and Gateway taking on Adams City.
