The Aurora Central Trojans easily handled the Alameda Pirates by a score of 55-34 on Friday, Jan. 31.

Aurora Central was lead in scoring by Aryannah McClain who accounted for 22 points while also grabbing eight rebounds. Zana’e Hodges recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 10 rebounds.

Alameda was paced in scoring by Raiyvn Lawson who put up 18 points, while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Sarahi Burciaga helped the effort by contributing four points and seven rebounds.

Looking ahead to their next games, Alameda will stay home and play Englewood, while Aurora Central will travel to play Brighton.
