Eaglecrest dominated from three-point land, hitting 38.9% of their shots in their 61-55 victory over Cherokee Trail on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
Zion Ruckard lead Eaglecrest with 22 points scored while also recording four rebounds and six assists. Ty Robinson and Seyi Oladipo also had good games contributing 14 points and 11 points, respectively.
Cherokee Trail was paced in scoring by Jermaine Vincent II who accounted for 15 points, while also collecting two rebounds and four assists. Tre Titus and Isaac Tesfaye also had productive outings contributing 15 points and 10 points, respectively.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Eaglecrest heading to play Overland and Cherokee Trail taking on Cherry Creek.
