The Ponderosa Mustangs narrowly lost to the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles in a 58-54 showdown on Friday, Jan. 31.
Mackenzie Gamble lead Mountain Vista with 14 points scored while also recording seven rebounds and two assists. Amy Holland recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Ponderosa was lead in scoring by Liberty Line who put up 20 points while collecting five rebounds. Katherine Higgins had a respectable night, recording 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Mountain Vista will stay home and play Douglas County, while Ponderosa will travel to play Elizabeth.
