
James Irwin narrowly won over the Trinidad Miners in a 46-43 showdown on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Ramiyah Byrd lead James Irwin with 23 points scored while also collecting eight rebounds and four assists. Sophia Venegas helped by chipping in 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Trinidad was paced in scoring by Kirsten Martinez who scored 14 points, while also collecting two rebounds and two assists. Julia Holden had a productive night, scoring 14 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, James Irwin will stay home and play Ellicott, while Trinidad will travel to play La Junta.
