The Lamar Savages narrowly lost to the Manitou Springs Mustangs in a 40-37 showdown on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Manitou Springs was lead in scoring by Alexia Vigil who accounted for 20 points while also recording four rebounds and one assist. Grace Allen had a good night, scoring six points.
Lamar was paced in scoring by Abby Robbins who put up 11 points, while also recording five rebounds and three assists. Courtney Sneller helped by contributing seven points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Manitou Springs hosting St. Mary’s and Lamar taking on Salida.
