The Burlington Cougars defeated the Byers Bulldogs by a score of 38-28 on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Trinity Perry lead Burlington with 13 points scored while also collecting 12 rebounds. Audrey Grinnan had a productive night, recording 12 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Byers was lead in scoring by Sam Linnebur who put up nine points while grabbing five rebounds. Gillian Sickendick helped the effort by chipping in six points and six rebounds.
Byers will play host to Kiowa, while Burlington will travel to play Goodland.
