The Hotchkiss Bulldogs narrowly lost to the Rangely Panthers in a 39-35 game on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Mary Scoggins lead Rangely with 15 points scored while also grabbing 15 rebounds. Adelynn Halcomb had a productive night, recording 11 points, six rebounds and one assist.
Hotchkiss was paced in scoring by Elsie Vazquez who accounted for 10 points, while also recording six rebounds and three assists. Shay Glaser had a good night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Rangely hosting Meeker and Hotchkiss taking on Aspen.
