
The Coronado Cougars narrowly won over Palmer in a 39-35 contest on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Coronado was paced in scoring by Tara Sandoval who accounted for 15 points while also recording four rebounds and one assist. Makenna Rempel and Fatinah Muhammed also had notable performances contributing six points each.
Palmer was lead in scoring by Jaiden Jones who put up seven points, while also collecting two rebounds and four assists. Jazelle Burney helped by chipping in seven points and 12 rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Coronado hosting Doherty and Palmer taking on Fountain-Fort Carson.
