The Academy easily defeated the Middle Park Panthers by a score of 67-25 on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Mikylah Espinosa lead The Academy with 22 points scored, while also racking up five assists. Janaya Steffy aided the effort by contributing 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Middle Park was lead in scoring by Katie Trail who accounted for six points, while also recording two rebounds and one assist. Briana Baker had a good night, scoring six points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with The Academy heading to play Sheridan and Middle Park taking on KIPP Denver Collegiate.
