Vista PEAK Prep had a field day from beyond the arc, hitting nine treys in their 88-58 victory over Thornton on Thursday.
Vista PEAK Prep was lead in scoring by Seairra Hughes who scored 21 points while also recording 10 rebounds and seven assists. Mikenzie Jones had a respectable night, recording 20 points, two rebounds and two assists.
Thornton was paced in scoring by Shamahra Henderson who put up 34 points, while also recording 17 rebounds and four assists. Monique Delatorre had a solid night, recording 12 points, three rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Vista PEAK Prep heading to play Gateway and Thornton taking on Adams City.
