St. Mary’s easily defeated the Manitou Springs Mustangs by a score of 87-58 on Thursday.

St. Mary’s was paced in scoring by Seneca Hackley who put up 27 points while also dishing out one assists. Josephine Howery aided the effort by chipping in 25 points, 17 rebounds, and two assists.

Manitou Springs was lead in scoring by Alexia Vigil who accounted for 16 points, while also recording three rebounds and three assists. Abigail Parker helped by chipping in 12 points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with St. Mary’s heading to play Lamar and Manitou Springs taking on Buena Vista.
