The Rocky Ford Meloneers easily defeated Swallows Charter Academy by a score of 58-26 on Tuesday.
Rocky Ford was lead in scoring by Lily Hancock who scored 15 points while also grabbing 13 rebounds. Abi Snyder had a productive night, recording 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Swallows Charter Academy was lead in scoring by Jessie Vallejos who put up 10 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and one assist. Megan Contreras aided the effort by contributing four points and two rebounds.
Next up for each team, Swallows Charter Academy will stay home and play Las Animas, while Rocky Ford will travel to play Holly.
