The Alamosa Mean Moose defeated the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers by a score of 59-42 on Saturday.
Alamosa was lead in scoring by Ian Jackson who accounted for 21 points while also recording 12 rebounds and one assist. Brenden Crowther had a respectable night, recording 21 points, four rebounds and one assist.
Montezuma-Cortez was paced in scoring by Teagan Whiteskunk who accounted for 20 points while collecting four rebounds. Titus Jackson helped by chipping in seven points and seven rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Montezuma-Cortez will play host to Centauri, while Alamosa will travel to play Pagosa Springs.
