The Pagosa Springs Pirates earned a win when they defeated the Monte Vista Pirates 53-38 on Saturday.
Pagosa Springs was paced in scoring by Mason Snarr who scored 14 points while also collecting nine rebounds and three assists. Ryan Lewis recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Monte Vista was lead in scoring by Nick Torrez who scored 14 points while collecting four rebounds. Tyrese Otero had a good night, scoring 11 points.
In their next games, Pagosa Springs will stay home and play Alamosa, while Monte Vista will travel to play Bayfield.
