The Horizon Hawks easily defeated the Mountain Range Mustangs by a score of 56-34 on Friday, Feb. 7.
Britta Cardenas lead Horizon with 15 points scored while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Olivia Waufle and Cc Denava also had respectable outings contributing 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
Mountain Range was paced in scoring by Lillian West who put up 14 points while collecting five rebounds. Hannah Chavez had a notable night, scoring eight points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Horizon heading to play Boulder and Mountain Range taking on Fort Collins.
