A driver was pulled from a pond by firefighters in Fort Collins on Monday after the car plunged into cold water.
The incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. in the 4500 block of Weitzel Street, according to the Poudre Fire Authority.
Final Update: No other patients were found. Units are beginning to clear the scene. The Engine 10 crew is roped to the car helping to keep it secure and will remain to assist the tow. Thank you to all agencies involved.

The driver was taken to a local hospital. After the water rescue, firefighters remained on scene and used a boat crew and tools to search the water around the vehicle. A Larimer County Dive and Rescue team also searched the water in Gateway Pond. No other people were found.
Firefighters attached a rope to the car so it could be towed out of the pond. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
