The Evergreen Cougars narrowly won over the Pomona Panthers in a 53-50 contest on Wednesday.
Evergreen was paced in scoring by Jackson Mott who accounted for 15 points while also collecting three rebounds. Cooper Dyess and Jared Stiller also had notable performances contributing 14 points and nine points, respectively.
In their next games, Pomona will play host to Lakewood, while Evergreen will travel to play Standley Lake.
