The Merino Rams beat the Haxtun Bulldogs by a score of 38-31 on Thursday.
Taysa Conger lead Merino with 17 points scored while also collecting eight rebounds. Hannah Pejsa-Stegner had a solid night, recording nine points, nine rebounds and six assists.
Haxtun was lead in scoring by Brooklyn Davis who scored 11 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and three assists. Bella Tori and K’lyn Bornhoft also had respectable outings contributing eight points each.
Next up for each team, Haxtun will stay home and play Wiggins, while Merino will travel to play Wray.
