Discovery Canyon was a force to be reckoned with in the paint, collecting 61.8 of all rebounds and swatting five shots in their 69-57 win over Falcon on Thursday.
Jaxon Smith lead Discovery Canyon with 14 points scored while also recording three rebounds and five assists. Trent Pasvogel recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Falcon was lead in scoring by Mason Black who accounted for 20 points while grabbing four rebounds. Ethan Royx aided the effort by chipping in 14 points and two rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Falcon will stay home and play Cheyenne Mountain, while Discovery Canyon will travel to play Air Academy.
