Lyons dominated from three-point land, hitting nine threes in their 55-51 victory over Dayspring Christian Academy on Friday, Feb. 14.
Lyons was lead in scoring by Gage Basey who accounted for 19 points while also collecting 10 rebounds and three assists. Bode Shiver had a solid night, recording 16 points.
Dayspring Christian Academy was paced in scoring by Caden Bonnell who scored 17 points, while also collecting 13 rebounds and two assists. Malachi Fast had a respectable night, recording 14 points, one rebound and one assist.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Lyons heading to play Union Colony Prep and Dayspring Christian Academy taking on Gilpin County.
