DSST: Byers beat the Northfield Nighthawks by a score of 70-65 on Saturday.
DSST: Byers was lead in scoring by Kyrie Thomas who accounted for 28 points while also collecting four rebounds and seven assists. Rex Foster helped by chipping in 12 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
Northfield was paced in scoring by Nahsyah Bolar who put up 18 points, while also recording six rebounds and five assists. Travier Craddock helped the effort by contributing 14 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Northfield will stay home and play Denver East, while DSST: Byers will travel to play Ridge View Academy.
