The Briggsdale Falcons defeated the Merino Rams by a score of 59-42 on Thursday.
Briggsdale was lead in scoring by Peyton Nicklas who scored 17 points while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Kylie Krise aided the effort by chipping in 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Merino was paced in scoring by Hannah Pejsa-Stegner who put up 17 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and four assists. Taysa Conger recorded a double-double, scoring 17 points and collecting 15 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Briggsdale heading to play Prairie and Merino taking on Wiggins.
