Fountain-Fort Carson dominated the interior, collecting 64.7 of all rebounds and swatting six shot attempts in their 68-61 victory over Liberty on Wednesday.
Isaiah Thompson lead Fountain-Fort Carson with 28 points scored while also collecting 10 rebounds. Keyshawn Maltbia had a productive night, recording 12 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Liberty was paced in scoring by Gus Rivas who put up 20 points, while also recording seven rebounds and one assist. Jordon McKay helped by chipping in 17 points and seven rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fountain-Fort Carson heading to play Rampart and Liberty taking on Doherty.
