The Steve Addazio era will get every chance to start off on the right foot next fall at Colorado State. It’s finishing things off that will be the big challenge.
The CSU Rams released their 2020 football schedule Thursday and four of their first six games will be at Canvas Stadium, including the season opener Sept. 5 against CU.
CSU will host two Colorado teams in Fort Collins in the opening three weeks, with Northern Colorado and first-year coach Ed McCaffrey visiting Sept. 19.
The Rams’ Mountain West Conference schedule begins two weeks later with Fresno State (Oct. 3) and New Mexico (Oct. 10) coming to Canvas on back-to-back weeks.
Things get much trickier after that with CSU playing four of six on the road to close out the season, including just one home game in November. The Rams will hit the road for games against San Diego State, Air Force and Boise State during the final month of the regular season, with a game against Utah State (Nov. 21) the final home game of the season.
