Delta made their presence felt from downtown, drilling 10 threes but ultimately fell 73-67 against Gunnison on Thursday.
Delta was paced in scoring by Javier Medina who put up 22 points, while also recording one rebound and two assists. Nate Workman recorded a double-double, scoring 16 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Next up for each team, Gunnison will stay home and play Olathe, while Delta will travel to play Moffat County.
