Wheat Ridge made their presence felt from three-point land, hitting nine threes but ultimately fell 58-55 against Golden on Friday, Feb. 21.
Golden was paced in scoring by Nathan Wiggins who put up 13 points while also collecting three rebounds. Ben Mclaughlin aided the effort by chipping in 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Wheat Ridge was paced in scoring by Westin Miller who scored 21 points, while also collecting one rebound and two assists. Dominic Bronk recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Golden will play host to Discovery Canyon, while Wheat Ridge will travel to play Canon City.
