Dove Creek could not overcome Ouray in 69-50 loss on Friday, Feb. 21.
Liam Miller lead Ouray with 18 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and four assists. Channing Green and Jackson Leo also had good outings contributing 18 points and 16 points, respectively.
Dove Creek was paced in scoring by Kade Hankins who put up 29 points, while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Hayden Gray helped the effort by contributing 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Ouray heading to play Dove Creek and Dove Creek taking on Nucla.
