The Cherry Creek Bruins easily defeated the Ralston Valley Mustangs by a score of 79-40 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Jana Van Gytenbeek lead Cherry Creek with 26 points scored while also recording four rebounds and seven assists. Cali Clark recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Ralston Valley was paced in scoring by Saya Sabus who put up 15 points, while also recording four rebounds and one assist. Brooklyn Seymour and McKenna Nichols also had notable performances contributing eight points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Cherry Creek heading to play Horizon and Ralston Valley taking on Pine Creek.
