The Dove Creek Bulldogs easily put away Nucla by a score of 79-34 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Dove Creek was lead in scoring by Grace Hatfield who accounted for 29 points while also collecting five rebounds and three assists. Lexi Gray and Kobie Beanland also had solid games contributing 10 points each.
Nucla was lead in scoring by Emme Rushing who scored 12 points, while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Jessica Barkemeyer had a good night, scoring six points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Dove Creek heading to play Nucla and Nucla taking on Ouray.
