The Widefield Gladiators easily defeated Mitchell by a score of 70-33 on Friday, Feb. 21.
Knikita Slaght lead Widefield with 18 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and one assist. Liliani Krause and Erika Warner also had solid games contributing 14 points and nine points, respectively.
Mitchell was paced in scoring by Amari Davis who scored 12 points, while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Torrai Logan helped by contributing 10 points and eight rebounds.
In their next games, Widefield will play host to Lewis-Palmer, while Mitchell will travel to play Mesa Ridge.
