
St. Mary’s defeated the Lamar Savages by a score of 77-21 on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Josephine Howery lead St. Mary’s with 27 points scored while also recording eight rebounds and one assist. Seneca Hackley and Catherine Cummings also had good outings contributing 12 points and 10 points, respectively.
Lamar was lead in scoring by Alee Tice who accounted for eight points while collecting seven rebounds. Courtney Sneller aided the effort by contributing three points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with St. Mary’s heading to play Trinidad and Lamar taking on Buena Vista.
