The Del Norte Tigers defeated the Sanford Indians by a score of 45-27 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Del Norte was paced in scoring by Kendra Parra who put up 24 points while also recording three rebounds and four assists. Kaeci Madrid had a good night, recording 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Sanford was paced in scoring by Asia Caldon who put up 11 points while grabbing five rebounds. Mackenzie Peterson aided the effort by chipping in 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Del Norte heading to play Center and Sanford taking on Sargent.
